3 EASY WAYS TO GET WATER ON YOUR RUN WITHOUT ACTUALLY HOLDING WATER!
Water is an essential part of your run and your ability to safely finish your run. We all have craved water, especially in these summer months, but sometimes you don’t have enough of it or sometimes you don’t want to carry it! I have 3 hacks for you to get you through this dilemma!
💦 Loop run ➡️ plan your route out ahead of time so you go by the same spot 2-3 times, depending on your distance. Plant a water bottle or two the night before (or morning of) the run so it’s there, ready for you! Or place the water in a cooler and place it outside of your house if you plan to include your home street in the loop run. Make sure you keep it outside so you don’t lose momentum and motivation by going inside! I used to keep extra water in my car when I drove to my long run loop! When I moved and no longer used this loop, I really missed the pit stop at my car every 5 miles!
💦 Grab a friend ➡️ ask a friend or family member to meet you at a certain point and time to retrieve water or your snack! You could even ask them to run a few miles with you to keep you company!
💦 Stop at a store ➡️ be prepared for this as you will need to pay with a credit card, Apple Pay, or cash. You can quickly retrieve your beverage of choice and get back to your long run!
